here's my notes from the intensive;

Bu Diu, Bu Ding
"no reisting, no backing off"

sticking also means meeting force. when you can't keep up with the change (this leads to) resisting or backing off. (no flow)

must pull to the dan tien. if you pull to the ming men it's hard to resist a push. this is taiji (balance of dan tien / ming men (yin/yang)).

sink and roll to ming men to push.
screw front kua into back foot. upper body drops into lead foot.

Martial Arts

1. POWER
2. offense
3. defense

I Liq Chuan is the art of offense.

relax to defend. relaxation is only a tool, not the goal.

absorb/condense
front (yin) drops first, back (yang) follows

project/expand
back (yang) rises first, front (yin) follows

stepping
expand the thigh and draw pinkie toe to perineum to step.

day 1 recap

1. flow
2. absorb and project
3. dan tien and ming men
4. 4 forces
5. 6 forces
6. stepping

day 2 (?)

flow
flow has a dialogue, your turn/my turn. not a one man show.
flow can still be strong. it can destroy things too.

day 3

15 basic = mechanism of movement. recognize the three dimensions. polarity of full/not full.
spinning hands = changin point (polarity of yin/yang).
