Т.к. на форуме есть еще ребята, хорошо знающие английский, плюс некоторые еще и в буддисткой терминологии разбираются (в отличие от меня), может быть кто-то сможет "добить" то, что осталось не понятно. Можно просто писать циферку и свой вариант.

That’s not enough. The three poisons must be uprooted. They can only be uprooted by the process of samatha and ???(1). The thee poisons can only be uprooted, fully uprooted in the state of supra-mundane samadhi. Only the supra-mundane object as the power of completely uprooting the poisons. The forty(2) the study of samatha and vipassana on the forty(2) objects can only reduce the poisons but can completely uproot.
Only the direct realization of the supra-mundane object gives the power of complete uprooting of the poisons. Why? Because there has to be the supra-mundane object in ???????(3), otherwise they will be separate. The tendency, suffering, cause of suffering, sensation of suffering and the cause of sensation of suffering at the same time. On when the object is supra-mundane one can see them at the same time. So the preparation for the… this experience of uprooting the three poisons, is a gradual process.
So there are some stages for us. First stage of entering the stream, the state of once-returning, never-returning and finally the Arahat. The one ???(4) is the, the stream enterer he has directly experienced the object of liberation, Nirvana. So he has annihilated the view of the real self. So his three poisons become less powerful. But we were now not explaining in detail this process of reunion (5). Then in the stage of once-returning one has reduced attachment and resistance. In the state of Arahat ones is already not-returning, one has all rage annihilated the attachment and dislike in regards to the objects of the sensual perception. And finally in the stage of Arahat the greed and hate complexes’ve been completely abandoned and therefore also the right excitement and so on. So the Arahat completely uproots the three poisons.
