Recently we've been spinning etc. with the feet shoulder width apart and only one foot slightly forward. This helps to see if you're using your stance to 'brace' pushes/pulls instead of absorbing down through the body. If used as a fighting stance then the groin is exposed and so your sensitivity needs to be a1, to avoid kicks and pain
