I Liq Chuan International Fourm - Western Australian Kung Fu and Tai Chi Championships 2008

Well, it was the second year that this competition has been held, this year we had more of a presence. Jeremy, Bevan and myself and sifu Henry attended. Henry was one of the judges for the tai chi forms. It was great to have him there !
Bevan did the butterfly form, Jeremy and I did the 21 form. We were judged together as there was only one event for ILC, next year hopefully we can have the 2 forms recognised separately.
Jeremy scored the gold and Bevan the silver, I didn't place as there were only 3 of us and the rules were that bronze wouldn't be given unless there were 4 or more contestants.
Thanks to Jeremy, we had lots of info on ILC placed around the event and we managed to create some interest in our art.
It was a great day and fun to be a part of. I was amazed at how nervous I was and I became aware how important it is to confident in what you know and do and to keep the mind on oneself.
